Greetings in the name
of our Lord Jesus Christ!
First of I would like to thank God for our ,Bishop Oprie Jeffries, our General
Superintendent Elder Marvin Jones, our Senior Pastor of the Philippines Elder
Gregory Adams Sr. and our host pastor Elder Edgardo Buico. I really PRAISE THE
LORD for I now know the TRUTH as I was seeking for a long time. I have been in
several churches to set me free but was not set free. One day my uncle who
is a member of the True Church Philippines invited me to attend the General
Assembly 2006. From the first day up to the end of the day of the convention I
listened and read the scriptures that was quoted by the speakers I was touched
with a different touch and my hearts overflowed of amazment because of the new
words that I heard. The words that the preachers says is like a thunder of
storm shaken to my faith in God. I am toltally BLESSED of the assembly. So I
left my church to become a member of the True Church Of God In Christ Of
The Apostles Doctrine & Faith Inc. I will be baptized again in the name of
our Lord Jesus Christ this coming September 8, 2007 for the Church anniversary
here in the Philippines. Now I found the real and genuine True church before God
because this church is also visiting the fatherless and widows in their
affliction. This Curch is keeping himself unspotted from the world. I'm
Sister Leticia Batuga, a fatherless daughter, but I never lost my hope and love
to God. For I know God loves me forever.

The celebration of our first General Convention on April 9, 2007 was very
good! I have meet many people from other places just to join the convention and
to hear the word of God delivered by our beloved senior pastor Elder Gregory
Adams and Elder Marvin Jones. I’m also happy to see our sisters and brother in
Christ Sister Jackie, Sister Barbara, and Brother Nathaniel who came from
Atlanta Georgia. to witness the convention.
The convention really ran well and it was fun... not only by hearing the word
of God but also when it came to praise and worship. Everybody was enjoying it.
All the Philippine True Churches were present. It really felt good to be
part of TRUE CHURCH. I thank also our Bishop Oprie Jeffries for bringing
them here in the Philippines. Hoping and praying that it will continue
years to come...
I most
of all thank our GRACIOUS HEAVENLY GOD FOR EVERYTHIING!!! For making our
convention safe and good. We have been blessed!!!

Greetings to all my Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
I would like to share my experiences during the 1st General Convention of the
True Church of God in Christ- General Santos City Philippines. It happened April
9-12 ,2007. I was very happy during the convention because I met the members of
the different churches of the True Church. Most of all I met the General
Superintendent Elder Marvin Jones and his behalf Sister Barbara Jones and the
senior Pastor of the Philippines, Elder Gregory Adams and his beautiful wife
Sister Jackie. I also met young man from Atlanta Georgia, Brother Nathaniel
Williams. I'm very happy and thankful to God to meet all these people. I also
want to thank our Bishop Oprie Jeffries for sending this people to the
Philippines.
During the convention everyone participated in all the activities. Many
shared their testimonies and also rendered a special song to God...The people
were very blessed with the word of God preached by Elder Marvin Jones and Elder
Adams. I am hoping and praying that these activity will continue in the next
years to come because I see that all the members are united in the presence of
the Lord.

First of all I would like to give honor to our savior Jesus Christ for all he
had done for me. I also give thanks to our Superintendent, Elder Marvin Jones,
our Senior Pastor here in Philippines, Elder Gregory Adams Sr. and company for
coming here to preach and share the word of God. I am so blessed and so
happy because God has given us a chance to have our 1st convention and I'm
having fun praising our God. We know that we are so blessed to be part of the
True Church Of God In Christ Of The Apostles Doctrine And Faith. I am hoping and
praying that it will continue the next years to come.

Praise God!!!
I was blessed during the 1st General Convention. During that time I had fun
praising our gracious Father. I thank God also for sending good preachers Elder
Jones and Elder Adams to deliver the word of God. I also thank God for our good
preachers delivering the word of God . Although I was hit and it really hurt me,
but somehow I learn from my mistakes. I have now cut my hair.

Greetings to my Sisters and Brothers of the True Church of God in Christ of
the Apostles’ Doctrine & Faith Inc,
I really appreciate my experiences at the 1st General Convention here in
General Santos, Philippines. I gained much knowledge and understanding from the
Word of God which was preached. In addition, I am very thankful to our Lord
Jesus Christ that Elder Adams, our General Superintendent Elder Jones, Sisters
Jackie and Barbara, as well as Brother Nathaniel were able to attend the 2007
General Convention here in the Philippines.
I was blessed to hear the Word of God that was shared by our dynamic Elder
Marvin Jones and Elder Gregory Adams. Many saints, visitors and friends were in
attendance. We were all blessed by God! Last, but definitely not least, we are
especially appreciative of our wonderful General Overseer, Bishop Oprie
Jeffries.
To all the saints, please remember to keep the saints all over the world in
your thoughts and prayers.

thank God for sending Elder Gregory Adams Sr. and Elder Marvin Jones and their
company here in the Philippines to preach the word of GOD. I am so thankful to
them because without them my life was different. Because of them I know how to
dress like a saint and I know that God is good all the time and we can prove

I am 17 years old from
the Philippines and I thank God for now being part of the True Church of God in
Christ of the Apostles Doctrine & Faith. I
received the great truth of my
salvation. I now know that I belong to JESUS. I know how to dress as a woman and
I am never wearing pants anymore nor will I live like I use to. And I thank the
Lord for Elder Adams who is the instrument of the truth which I received from
the Lord. I also am thankful for his wife, Sister Adams. Now I convey to my
whole family to serve the Lord with me. I am the one who take care of my younger
sister & brothers since my mother passed away. We need your prayers that I and

Greetings to everyone,
Praise The Lord! I really thank God for being apart of the True Church under the
leadership of Bishop B.J. Lawson. I thank God for hearing spiritual things that
can mold my spirit and soul and learning more about the TRUTH. I believe if I’m
always in the truth I'll become set free. I know that God will always love me as
I walk in HIM, because when I was not yet in the Truth my life was miserable and
I was in despair. But when Elder Buico came to our home and shared the word of
God, I was blessed. He invited me to go to church and I went to the church
service. That was the first time I heard the word of God. Now I really feel as a
girl or woman in the Lord. I will never wear pants and earrings anymore and all
the things that are an abomination in the sight of the Lord. Now I am striving
to attend every church service so that I will be in the Lord always. In this
regard, I give thanks to Bishop B. J. Lawson, Elder Jeffries and Elder Adams. I
saw him in our church here in the Philippines. To all my fellow youth my request
is to pray for me in my new faith and my soul is always in the fear of the
Lord's word.

is great! He changed me and my family’s faith! We are living now in
righteousness. Before when we were not in True Church our lives were difficult,
because we did not follow the bible. I praise the Lord because I found the
Truth at the True Church of God in Christ. The Bible says at... John 8:32
“follow the truth and the truth shall set us free.”
